Auto-Freight Rates for 2008 now available
Like the title says. UPS rates for 2008 are now available. Remember, these rates are not active until after December 31. Also please note the pricing change for rates. If you have an active subscription for auto-freight you can purchase the rates for 99.99. A savings of 100.00.

Last Price Lookup Version 10 Released!
We've finally completed the long work at making Last Price Lookup compliant with Version 10.0 of Dynamics GP. Those of you with updated subscriptions will receive your version 10.0 keys ASAP. New for this version is complete security compliancy and better handling of the menu system. Please see your Last Price Lookup addendum (found under the Dynamics>>Maintenance>>Deccasoft>>Last Price Lookup>>About Last Price Lookup menu) after installation for key changes.

Work has also now begun to move Last Price Lookup with Advanced Pricing to Version 10. If any of you are interested in V8 or V9 please shoot us an email (sales@deccasoft.com) and we'll look into it.

In the coming months we intend to begin moving some of our libraries over to .Net (to follow suit  with Microsoft). Last Price Lookup will be the first product we move over to .Net. This move will allow us to take advantage of the object oriented facilities provided by .Net and ensure your products work well into the future.

Auto-Freight Version 10 Released!

Also included is a rudimentary Rate editor that we intend to enhance and add some functionality to ease editing of your UPS rates. Please see your Auto-Freight addendum after installation for key changes.

Finally Up

The website is finally up -- kind of. Please bear with us as we're getting the website up. It is still kind of painful as we have so little to do and so much time to do it.... Strike that, reverse it. We're still playing with format but wanted to get a few things up because there are pricing changes to be made now that the changing of hands is almost complete. We're going for a pseudo blog style with this page and will try to keep it updated frequently as the site matures.

Ted Armstrong (03/03/1945 – 02/22/2007)

As many of you are already aware Ted passed away on Feb. 22, 2007. He was a wonderfully warm individual and conducted business "with a handshake". He truly felt it a privilege and a pleasure to consult both with his local clients and with his national clients. It was his wish that DBS carry on in supporting and servicing his previous custom software clients and is on of the reasons we exist. Our staff here were honored to have worked with, been mentored by and been friends with such an amazing man. Ted really showed that business can be conducted between friends.

Memorial donations in honor of Ted may be made to the First Baptist Church or the Salvation Army, P.O. Box 354 Vineland, NJ 08362. Written condolences to the family may be e-mailed to wbfuneralhome@comcast.net.
